[ Story ]

Told from the perspective of criminal offenders who want to rehabilitate themselves, it questions the nature of the Sexual Offenses Act. The director is Urabe Atsushi, an exciting new director who has received many awards for independent films at film festivals in Japan. Atsuo (Kanakura Kousuke) gets out of prison after serving a six-year sentence for criminal sexual assault. He looks for work, but is constantly obstructed by the "scope" law, which monitors former sex offenders, and he cannot find work. He escapes from the city to a remote island as his family has turned their back on him. He starts to work in a small factory on the island, but his peaceful days do not continue for long.
