Yamada Atsuhiro, winner of the Grand Prix at the Yamagata International Movie Festival 2007, directs his first full-length film with the scholarship obtained as the award. This piece humorously portrays a young girl who hates romantic comedies as she falls in love, and was the winner of several awards, including the Narrative Feature Competition Audience Award of the Austin Film Festival. Momoko works at a library and is into movies. She is a regular customer at a shabby rental shop but refuses to watch romantic comedies. Soon a romantic relationship starts to build up around her out of the blue.
