[ Story ]
An interpersonal drama that was selected for the 2011 Cannes International Film Festival's Short Film Competition. Its director is Tazaki Megumi, who won awards at several film festivals in Japan for her previous work "Anna." After her mother dies, Akari (Minaguchi Sawaka) sets off to meet the father who abandoned them when she was a small child, and meets Kota (Eiichi Sawada), the eldest son in her father's new family, who has run away from home. Over its brief 15-minute duration, this road movie uses subdued camerawork to depict the subtle psychological distance between half-siblings.
