[ Story ]

Tendo Jun (voice: Ono Kensho) is a junior high school student living in Kyoto. One day on his way home from school he is pursued by a mysterious demon that appears out of the blue. He wanders into an old temple, where he gets help from the monk Genun (voice: Nakamura Shido), and is transported through time to Kyoto as the Heian capital. Jun is the legendary savior who is to put a definitive end to the battle with the demon threatening the capital's tranquility. He is hesitating in the face of decision when Mizuha (voice: Ishihara Satomi), a girl who is part of the demon clan, appears and tells him the truth about the attack. What is he supposed to be protecting? Amidst the conflict, the day of reckoning arrives.
