[ Story ]
A musical drama commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of the Urayasu city Government in Chiba Prefecture. Based on Onizuka Tadashi's eponymous novel, it warmly spins a tale of the rebirth of a musical family on the verge of collapse, with the accompaniment of famous classical pieces. The film was shot on location in Urayasu City, which sustained liquefaction damage as a result of the Great East Japan Earthquake, but citizens came to the aid of the filmmakers to help them complete it. Junior high school student Kai (Takasugi Mahiro) is a budding violinist with a bright future. However, his parents are music college graduates who gave up their dreams for the sake of their family, and his younger sister Misaki (Gouriki Ayame) is a student of the flute who has grown frustrated and is ready to call it quits.
