[ Story ]
A drama made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China. Focusing on the relationship between an elderly Japanese woman who was orphaned and left behind in China as a child during World War II, her granddaughter, and a young Chinese man raised in Japan, it presents a warm portrayal of human bonds transcending national borders. After the death of her parents, Yuko (Ichii Sayaka) was raised by her grandmother Shigeko (Yachigusa Kaoru), and now leads a hectic life as a designer and a single mother. One day, Yuko participates in a dress design competition for a fashion show in China, and is reunited with her Chinese childhood friend Yuan (Alex Ru).
