[ Story ]
A film adaptation of a popular segment from the television variety show "Pet Daishugo! Pochitama". The segment, a documentary-style travelogue, follows the adventures of a comedian and his labrador retriever, and their amusing antics have generated a massive fanbase. Unsuccessful comedian Matsumoto (Katori Shingo) is tasked with a new television program involving Masao, an untrained dog with an insatiable appetite and no discernible talent. His innocent playfulness makes him more than a handful for Matsumoto, but the odd couple's rapport proves to be a hit with viewers.
