[ Story ]
Documentary following cellist Aoki Juro, who was past 80 when he recorded Bach's Suites for Unaccompanied Cello, for six years from the age of 90. The artist's insatiable inquisitiveness and reunions with associates are moving. Aoki has always been up for a challenge in his pursuit of the ideal sound. Overcoming long-term health problems, he arrives in the realm of "elegance" as at the age of 96 he completes the recordings of the Suites for Unaccompanied Cello, known to be difficult both musically and technically.
