It depicts familial bonds and perspectives on life and death, as seen in the struggle of an awkward man who loses his life in a sudden accident.
Hopeless office worker Shibuya Kenichi (Namase Katsuhisa) is divorced by his wife, and is also hated by his daughter. One day, he and his boss Ayase Yumi (Konishi Manami) are struck by lightning and die. Before long, in the afterworld they learn of the existence of a legendary soup that has the power to bring them back to life as different people.
