A feature version of an animated television series based on a picture book by illustrator Amano Yoshitaka. The everyday lives of vegetable pixies living in a New York kitchen is cutely rendered by watercolor-style 3D computer animation.
It is an event movie featuring selected episodes from the series, and is full of delights that even small children can enjoy. New parts have been inserted in intervals during the remastered main feature. It adopts a participatory format, with the characters posing quizzes to viewers and urging them to sing along.
