Omnibus animation film themed on Japan, comprised of four parts: COMBUSTIBLE, the depiction of a massive fire in Edo by AKIRA's Otomo Katsuhiro, and Grand Prize winner at the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival; near-future action film A Farewell to Weapons, mechanical designer Katoki Hajime's adaption of a short manga by Otomo; 86th Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film nominee POSSESSIONS, a bizarre tale about monsters directed by Morita Shuhei; and director Ando Hiroaki's GAMBO, about a legendary deadly battle between a demon and a white bear. Opening sequence supervised by The Animatrix director Morimoto Koji.
