A regionally-produced film shot on location in Wakayama Prefecture with full local government cooperation. This drama from first-time director Toda Akihiro addresses universal themes of parent-child relationships and love through a family tied together by a strange bond.
Tomohiro (Daitoh Shunsuke) returns to his hometown in Wakayama with his fiancee Machiko (Kurokawa Mei). At his family home, his unconventional family awaits: his father, two half-sisters and a half-brother in the same year at high school, and their three mothers. Although they appear to maintain a kind of balance, Machiko's arrival has repercussions on their relationships.
