Ensemble coming-of-age story that gives a humorous and unembellished depiction of the emotional distance among two guys and a girl. The film uses long cuts, minimal dialogue and background music from radio and live performances only. Feature film debut from Shimote Daisuke, who has researched Ozu Yasujiro. Screened at 12 international film festivals, including the Tokyo International Film Festival.
Kuro (Kido Airi), laid off from a bakery, cameraman Eito (Saito Yu), and theater director Go (Nakaizumi Hideo). Sharing absolutely nothing in common, the trio leaves Tokyo and starts living together in an abandoned seaside inn.
