[ Story ]
A documentary that looks at people searching for better lifestyles through food. Conceived, planned, and directed by Suzuki Naoki, the editor in chief of Sunmark Publishing, a company known for its self-help and business books.
Food culture researcher Nagayama Hisao has discovered a secret of longevity in the meals of samurai commanders during the Sengoku (Warring States) period. Sato Kenichi and Akita Inemi carry out various projects having to do with food, health, and beauty. Acupuncturist and moxibustion practitioner Mori Michiyo chose a way of life based around not eating after developing an incurable disease. They talk about their faith in food. Reevaluating our attitudes about food can be a way of reevaluating our own lives.
