Live action adaptation of the novella by Honda Takayoshi, who has had numerous other works including Strayer's Chronicle on the big screen. Depicts the tight bonds that connect a dysfunctional family of five, and the troubles that befall them.
The Moriyama household has a peaceful existence centered on the father Kazuhiko (Takenouchi Yutaka), who makes a living robbing unoccupied homes, and his wife and three children. In fact, they aren't actually related, and complex circumstances drive them to masquerade as a family. One day, the wife Satsuki (Matsuyuki Yasuko), who is a wedding scammer, gets kidnapped by a guy she is targeting, and Kazuhiko stands up to protect his family…
