Bittersweet drama about a man who returns home after his dreams go bust and lies about his work out of self-conceit. Suzuki Satoshi serves as director, producer, screenplay writer and editor for the film, and also holds a regular job in the medical industry.
Matsuno (Totsugi Shigeyuki) tried to make it in Tokyo but failed and retreats to his hometown of Asahikawa City in Hokkaido. After reuniting with his ex-girlfriend and buddies from high school, he lies and tells them he's an artist. He finds out that the Asahikawa alumni association is looking for someone to create a woodworked monument, and boasts that he's the perfect person for the project, but…
