Inspired by Halloween in the popular animated TV series "Go! Princess PreCure", this film is part of "Go! Princess Pretty Cure the Movie Go! Go!! Gorgeous Triple Feature!!!". Miyamoto Hiroshi has participated in the computer graphics production for the TV show, and makes his directorial debut with this film.
The PreCure team gets swept off to the Pumpkin Kingdom, a land trapped in darkness. They join forces with Kingdom resident Lefy (voice: Uegaki Hinata) and use the "miracle light" in their fight to bring light back to Pumpkin Kingdom.
