Interviews with over 20 people from Japan and abroad relate the unseen side of actor Takakura Ken, who passed away in 2014. The documentary is directed by New York based photographer Hibi Yuichi and was awarded the Best Documentary in the Documentaries of the World category of the 40th Montreal Wold Film Festival.
Michael Douglas, who co-starred with Takakura in Black Rain, looks back on memories of Takakura whom he praises as "the role model for film actors". John Woo, also a professed fan of Takakura, speaks about what makes him captivating.
