This is the only film Kiki Kilin, of Shoplifters fame among many others, conceived in her lifetime. Based on a true story, it depicts a woman turning to a life of fraud because of her desires. In the director's chair is Hibi Yuichi whose Ken San won the best documentary award at the 40th Montreal World Film Festival.
While working in a nightclub, Satoko (Asada Miyoko) profits on the side from a pyramid scam capitalizing on her natural amiability and gift for conversation. Beguiled by (Hira Takehiro) who is going to expand his business on a global scale, Satoko one day assumes the name "Erica" and assumes the role of collecting investment funds.
