Film adaptation of beloved Nepalese author Parijat's masterpiece novel "Shirish ko Phool (The Blue Mimosa)." Director Ito Toshiaki spent four years working on this film, which features the renowned Nepalese actor Ganesh Man Lama in this follow-up to KATHPUTALIA: The Angel of the Himalayas.
Suyog (Ganesh Man Lama) fought the Japanese army on the Burmese front as a Gurkha soldier in the British Indian Army during World War Two. Returning from the battlefront emotionally wounded, he visits his drinking buddy at home and meets his little sister Bari (Sarmila Gurung).
