Second part in the anime trilogy based on Yamazaki Kore's fantasy comic titled "The Ancient Magus' Bride" featuring a completely new story penned by the author.
Chise (voice: Tanezaki Atsumi) recalls memories from early childhood that were buried deep within her subconscious. She lived in terror of the people around her, who couldn't comprehend the powers she was born with. She fled to a place with a mysterious library, where she met a librarian named Miura (voice: Sakurai Takahiro). She spends time at the library with Miura, and one book in particular catches her eye. That book has special significance for both Miura and Chise.
