Acclaimed for the unique visuals created with sand and paint on glass plates, the film won the Grand Prix in the Japanese Short Film Section at the Kineko International Children's Film Festival in 2016 and the Grand Prize for Student Films at the Seoul International Manga Animation Film Festival in 2015.
Bunroku is a young boy who buys a new pair of clogs on his way to an evening festival with his village friends. An old woman they've never met before tells them that if he wears new clogs at night, his spirit will be possessed by a fox. On the way home from the festival, Bunroku's friends look at him with suspicion.
