[ Story ]
Yashiro, an ex-boxer with many years experience in the ring, finds the Olympic Boxing Gold Medalist, Hayami, who has been missing for three years at a race-track. Yashiro is addicted to gambling, but now he decides to give up the horses and devote himself to helping the younger man back into a ring career. Hayami at first refuses but is prevailed upon to make a comeback because he wants very much to help send his girlfriend, Keiko, to Poland where she has been invited to take place in a piano-concourse.
Yoko, Yashiro's sister, likes Hayami, but when she learns of his affection for Keiko, makes him leave her bar where he had taken a part-time job.
In the meantime, however, a gambling ring moves in and puts pressure on Yashiro to have him make Hayami throw the championship. But though he pretends to comply with their orders, Yashiro does nothing of the kind. Hayami wins. The gangsters retaliate but Yashiro is helped by a friend and they win out before Hayami goes on to try for the world championship.
