The first theatrical version from the new TV series, "Pokémon: Diamond Pearl". Satoshi, Pikachu and friends set off towards Alamos Town where a Pokémon contest is due to be held. In Alamos Town, however, an unidentified Pokémon, Darkrai, has appeared, causing people to have nightmares, and a unit has been formed to capture Darkrai. Two other Pokémons, Dialga and Palkia, which are often referred to as God, also appear in the sky above Alamos Town, and a fierce three-way battle unfolds. The battle distorts the time space, and Satoshi and friends are caught up in the battle. Alamos town is on the blink of being devastated. Then Satoshi realizes that the true purpose of Darkrai, which is hurt in the battle, is to calm the fighting between Dialga and Palkia and protect the town. Satoshi gets hold of "Oracion", which is the only hope to save the town according to an old saying. Satoshi succeeds in preventing the battle, using the power of "Oracion", and peace returns to the town once more.
