[ Story ]

A film adaptation using Onitsuka Tadashi's novel relating episodes about Ikenobo Senko, a master of flower arrangement during the end of the Warring States Period, as a motif. In the director's chair is Shinohara Tetsuo of TERMINAL.
Ikenobo Senko (Nomura Mansai) is a monk and master flower arranger who has captured the heart of Oda Nobunaga (Nakai Kiichi) and awed Toyotomi Hideyoshi (Ichikawa Ennosuke) and Sen No Rikyu (Sato Kouichi). Demonstrating little interest in political power, Senko simply feels joy in showing the beauty of flowers. Before long, Hideyoshi begins his brutal purge. In order to restore peace to society, Senko challenges Hideyoshi to a winner-take-all contest of a lifetime.
