Feature film adaptation of 'City Hunter,' the popular TV anime series aired from 1987 through 1999. Helmed by Kodama Kenji, the original director of the TV series.
Top underworld marksman Saeba Ryo (voice: Kamiya Akira) is asked to serve as bodyguard for model Shindo Ai (voice: Iitoyo Marie), who is being pursued by an unknown assailant. Ryo goes all out to hit on Ai, but his partner Makimura Kaori (voice: Ikura Kazue) keeps running interference. Then, Ryo finds out that the enemy targeting Ai is part of a huge conspiracy.
