Superhero action film about the birth of Dharuriser, the home-grown hero from Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. Action choreography by Justo Dieguez, who created the Keysi self-defense method used in Batman Begins.
Tachi Akihiro (Wachi Takeaki) abandons his dream of becoming an actor in Tokyo and returns to his hometown of Shirakawa. He thinks up the 'Dharuriser' character based on the city's famed Daruma dolls, and he enters the city's mascot contest. Meanwhile, a mysterious group called Dice is secretly plotting to take over the city.
