[ Story ]
Documentary about people living in depopulated regions who are working to revitalize their communities through renewable energy. Directed by Watanabe Satoshi, whose film Reviving Recipes was an official invitation at the 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival.
Volunteers in Iitate Village and brewery owners in Kitakata City established Aizu Electric Power Company and Iitate Power after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident in 2011. And, the creation of wind turbines in Nikaho City, Akita Prefecture leads to the formation of partnerships between local producers and consumers in the Tokyo area. The film questions the meaning of 'wealth' in the coming era through community development endeavors spreading throughout the country.
