Saejima Raiga, the lead character of the 'Garo: Makai no Hana' series which aired on television in 2014, is the focus of this new story for the big screen. Series creator Amemiya Keita serves as writer of the original story, screenwriter, and director.
Demon Knight Raiga (Nakayama Masei) has lived his days hunting the monsters lurking in the darkness of people's hearts known as Horrors. Meanwhile Mayuri (Ishibashi Natsumi), who wishes to be helpful to people, lives with Raiga and raises flowers. One day a man in a white mask, Shiroku (Matsuda Satoshi), turns up before Raiga and Mayuri and attacks Raiga.
