Studying film production as a graduate student at the Tokyo University of the Arts under Kurosawa Kiyoshi and Suwa Nobuhiko, director Nishikawa Tatsuro makes his feature-length debut with this film. It depicts people at the mercy of "inevitable" things from the standpoint of a high schooler interacting with his father's mistress.
High schooler Hagi (Mochizuki Ayumu) thought his household was a happy one. Then his father Yoshio (Kizu Toru) asks for Takashi's help to break up with his mistress Toko (Otani Mai). From that day, Takashi ends up having to go back and forth between his own home and Toko's.
