Director Shinkai Makoto of your name. and Weathering With You, portrays the adventure about the liberation and maturation of a girl named Suzume, who embarks on a journey to seal the "doors" that cause natural disasters set in ruins throughout Japan.
Suzume (Hara Nanoka) is a 17-year-old girl living in a quiet town in Kyushu. She meets Souta (Matsumura Hokuto), a "closer" who wanders the country sealing doors. Then suddenly, a mysterious cat named Daijin appears and utters words, and the next moment Souta turns into a three-legged chair.
