[ Story ]

A suspense film from an original screenplay by Sakamoto Yuji, directed by Kore-eda Hirokazu (Shoplifters), which is also attracting attention for being the last film score by Sakamoto Ryuichi, who passed away in March 2023.
In a suburban lakeside town lives a single mother (Ando Sakura) who loves her son, a teacher (Nagayama Eita) who loves his students, and other innocent children. A fight between two children turns into a big deal involving society at large and the media due to the discrepancies in their claims. Then, one stormy morning, the children suddenly disappear.
