Political documentary helmed by Uchiyama Yuto, who made his directorial debut with Tasting the Pancake for Poison, in collaboration with Star Sands, the production company behind biting social commentaries including The Journalist.
The late Abe Shinzo was Japan's longest-serving prime minister. The film uses testimonials and satirical illustrations to examine Abe's politics and his political stance of achieving the ambitions ingrained from his maternal grandfather Kishi Nobusuke, the former prime minister known as the "Monster of the Showa era."
