[ Story ]
Documentary based on ten years of footage about the court case involving Okawa Elementary School in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, where numerous people lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Okawa Elementary School lost ten teachers and 74 students, amounting to 70 per cent of the student body, when the tsunami hit after the earthquake on March 11, 2011. Parents dissatisfied with the government's explanation sued for state reparations. The case took five years and resulted in a decision described as "groundbreaking".
