Documentary about new approaches to childcare by the team that made Under the Wind Little Creatures' Life, Grass' Life, Objects' Life. Yokohama's "Ringo no Ki" provides childcare that is sensitive to children's emotions. "Mori no Yochien Piccolo" in Yamanashi uses forests as the setting for raising children who can think for themselves. Osaka's "Hoikujo Seiaien" offers childcare together with children who have disabilities. The film questions what it means to "raise people" as it depicts the daily lives of children at these three unique nursery schools.
