Live-action adaptation of Naoki Prize-winner Kurokawa Hiroyuki's crime novel. A woman exploits elderly men in marriage scams in this humorous portrait of men and women overcome by greed. Direction and script by Tsuruhashi Yasuo, known for his dramas about social issues.
Aging but adorable Sayoko (Otake Shinobu) meets Kozo (Tsugawa Masahiko) at a matchmaking party and they get married. But, when he dies two years later, Sayoko presents his two daughters with an officially notarized will and asserts that she is the sole heir to the estate.
