Entertaining film about special effects, hot springs and swarms of sharks. Created a buzz with the crowdfunding tactic of pegging the number of sharks in the film to the number of campaign supporters.
In the coastal city of Atsumi in S Prefecture, hot springs visitors vanish in a series of mysterious incidents. Moreover, the victims' bodies are found at sea bearing the signs of shark attacks. The police chief and marine biologist who investigate the case discover that ancient sharks are traveling back and forth to the hot springs to attack people. In response, the Atsumi Police Station forms a massive search party.
