[ Story ]

The novel of the same title by Somei Tamehito has been adapted to film by Fujii Michito, director of such films as The Last Ten Years and 18×2 Beyond Youthful Days. The film depicts a fugitive criminal with "five faces" and what happens with the case.
Kaburaki (Yokohama Ryusei), who was arrested and sentenced to death as a suspect in a heinous murder, escapes. Sayaka (Yoshioka Riho), Kazuya (Morimoto Shintaro), Mai (Yamada Anna), and Matasugi (Yamada Takayuki), a detective who pursues Kaburaki, meet Kaburaki as he continues his escape route around Japan. However, the Kaburaki that each of them meets is a completely different person...
