A paean to life, set in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, which is protected from flooding by a huge lock called "Ama Lock". This film depicts the life of a family with disparate personalities. Director Nakamura Kazuhiro, who is making his second feature film, conceived and planned the film.
Yuko (Eguchi Noriko), a 39-year-old single woman who lost her job due to an unreasonable layoff, returns to her parents' home in Amagasaki and lives the life of a NEET. One day, her carefree father (Shofukutei Tsurube) suddenly announces that he is getting remarried, and brings home 20-year-old Saki (Nakajo Ayami), who dreams of a happy family time.
