Having given up on a career as a musician, Matsumoto now spends his days working as an editor for "OPSY," a music maga- zine that covers counterculture topics like body implants and split tongues. One day, under orders from his boss, he goes to check out a solo concert by "The PEACH BOYS," a band being promoted by a production company. However, the perfor- mance is so terrible that Matsumoto is left in despair, lament- ing his life as an editor and muttering, "What a waste of effort." After the concert, the store manager, Iokizu, introduces a band. It is a shocking encounter with "THE COLLECTED FREAKS," a rare band that appeared suddenly without any prior announcement. And then Matsumoto makes a decision in order to "love himself"...
