[ Story ]

Based on the hit manga series by Akane Shimizu, this live-action epic reimagines the human body as a sprawling metropolis, transforming 37 trillion microscopic cells into vivid, human characters. Directed by Takeuchi Hideki (Fly Me to the Saitama), the film features action direction by Ouchi Takahito (Rurouni Kenshin).
From diligent Red Blood Cells (Nagano Mei) transporting oxygen to fierce White Blood Cells ( Satoh Takeru) repelling invaders, every cell has a job to do. But not every "world" is equal. While young Niko (Ashida Mana) maintains a healthy body where her cells thrive, her father Shigeru (Abe Sadawo) lives a chaotic lifestyle, leaving his exhausted cells on the brink of a total breakdown.
