Sequel to Fly Me to the Saitama in the live-action series based on Maya Mineo's popular gag comedy. Director Takeuchi Hideki, screenplay writer Tokunaga Yuichi and editor Kawamura Shinji each won the top prize at the 43rd Japan Academy Awards and return for the sequel.
The people of Saitama were persecuted by Tokyoites and achieved freedom and peace thanks to Asami Rei's (GACKT) Saitama Liberation. Rei is on a mission to Saitama-ize the rest of Japan, which takes him to the unexplored territory of Wakayama and smack into the disparities within western Japan.
