[ Story ]
The crew of A tale of Mari and three puppies (Mari to Koinu no Monogatari) reunite. Set in the vast nature of Hokkaido, this film depicts the touching drama of the bond between mankind and animals as well as family ties. A young brother and sister are sent by their divorced mother to live with their veterinarian father, Taiji (Funakoshi Eiichiro). The two children who learn that Ululu, the dog that they took in, might be an Ezo wolf, a species said to be extinct. The siblings set out on a journey to the legendary land of wolves, Horokeshi, in order to return Ululu to its mother.
