[ Story ]
Humorous drama about the drab dandyism of a middle-aged man. Director Ishii Yuya is closely watched in Japan and abroad, with honors including the first Edward Yang New Talent Award for new Asian directors at the 2008 Asia Film Awards, and special screenings at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Hong Kong International Film Festival. Miyata (Mitsuishi Ken) lost his wife early on and single-handedly raised their two children. One day he notices a change in his physical condition, and decides that it must be stomach cancer.
