[ Story ]
The second feature film of the series "GURREN LAGANN." In the preceding episode, the human race finally escaped from its underground hideouts, but once again finds itself under attack by a mysterious enemy. The script was written by Nakashima Kazuki, the in-house writer for the Gekidan☆Shikansen theatrical group, who also worked on the "Gurren-Lagann" TV anime series. The human race aspires to civilization and peace, led by a new government with Supreme Commander Simon (voiced by Kakihara Tetsuya) at its head. However, as the human race aims to land on the moon, a powerful enemy blocks their path. Led by Simon, the members of Team Dai-Gurren must once again fight the battle.
