A film produced by Anime Mirai, an Agency for Cultural Affairs project that cultivates animators who represent the future of Japan's animation studios. This fantasy was created by cutting-edge studio TRIGGER, which was established in 2011.
Akko (Han Megumi), inspired by a magic show she saw as a child, enrolls at a prestigious school in Europe for prospective witches. However, the lessons are nothing but boring, so she and her new friends Lotte (voice: Orikasa Fumiko) and Sucy (voice: Murase Michiyo) strive to restore wonder to magic.
