[ Story ]
The follow up of his last documentary on a Taiwanese gold town Kaze wo Kiku (Hearing The Wind) ~Story of Jeofen, Taiwan~ (Kaze o Kiku Taiwan Kowloon Monogatari), director Hayashi Masayuki returns and crosses to the opposite side of the mountains to follow the history of the people that live there. Once referred to as the largest oriental gold mine, the area was discovered in 1894, and developed by Japanese businesses. A once rich lifestyle was followed closely by war. Both Japanese and Taiwanese local residents of the era look back to discuss their various memories 20 years after the mine closure in 1987.
