[ Story ]

A documentary screened in the section "Japanese Eyes" at the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival. The director Suzuki Junichi, who currently resides in the United States and focuses his efforts on co-productions between Japanese and US filmmakers, explores the world of the Japanese-American troop known as the 442nd Regimental Combat Team that fought during World War II. Composed of Japanese-America soldiers, it became the most highly decorated regiment during the War and was proclaimed America's greatest infantry force. Reflecting on their lives on the battlefield as Americans, the documentary vividly portrays the repercussions that not even their families knew about.
