[ Story ]
A concentration camp for people of Japanese descent in the United States during the Second World War. This is a documentary film which depicts the lives of the people of Japanese descent at the time, as well as the personality of Toyo Miyatake. The story is told through the 500 photographs left by cameraman Toyo Miyatake and the comments by those who were actually detained at the camps, as well as the words of the American photographers who had strong ties with Miyatake. In 1942, Toyo Miyatake, who was sent to the Manzanar concentration camp, secretly brought in a set of lenses and created a camera from them. He films the various areas of the concentration camp.
