[ Story ]
A coming-of-age story based on Hanazawa Kengo's comic of the same title. The story is about a clumsy office worker, a loser who is in hopeless love, portrayed in a raw, uncompromising sketch that doesn't shy away from all the miserable details. Director Miura Daisuke is a winner of the Kishida Kunio Drama Award. He formed the theater company Potudo-ru, known for their gritty depiction of young men and women. Tanishi (Mineta Kazunobu) works for a small toy manufacturer. He is almost 30, but a virgin, at least, he has no experience with a girl that hasn't been paid for, and is utterly hopeless when it comes to his career and love life. He is secretly in love with his younger co-worker Chiharu (Kurokawa Mei), but not knowing how to approach her, he remains in agony.
